James William Champ of Edgewood died January 10 at Harford Memorial Hospital. He was 62.
Born in Frostburg, MD he was the son of the late Lonzie and Lillian (Adams) Champ.
Mr. Champ was retired from the Baltimore County Police Department and he enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his wife Donna (Wilt) Champ; daughters, Laura McCormick, Kimberly Champ-Smith, and Darlene Champ all of Edgewood; grandchildren, Kyle, Michael, Zachary, Makalah, James, Gregory, Matthew, Toni Marie, and Cembra, his great granddaughter McKenna; brothers, Ronald, Gerald, and Bruce; and his sisters, Sadie and Mary.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 15 at the Richlin Ballroom at 6:00pm a reception followed until 9:00pm
