Every day a dog named Rip #0B42 stands on Sentry Duty at Heavens Gate, waiting for his Handler to arrive. Yesterday Rip heard a familiar sound, recognized a long past scent. He looked hard and saw Jan coming up to meet him at Heavens Gate. Peace at long last to both of them.
