Josephine Ida Pasley, age 90 of Havre de Grace died Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Harford Memorial Hospital. Born in Ashville, N.C. to the late Jones and Alice Eller. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Pasley. Cherished mother of Betty Bailes and husband Ronald of Aberdeen, Charles Spicer of Aberdeen, Douglas Spicer and wife Marilyn of Tucson, AZ, Larry Spicer of Aberdeen, Jimmy Spicer of Havre de Grace, Richard Pasley and wife Charmaine of Aberdeen, Iva Barbar of TX, Kenneth Pasley and wife Barbara of Havre de Grace and Robin Green of Havre de Grace. She is survived by sister Juanita Hale of VA, 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and was predeceased by 5 siblings. Josephine was Baptist, a homemaker, operated a maid service and was a member of the Women's Home League at Salvation Army Church.
The family will receive friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen on Monday, March 1 from 11am to Noon. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Donnie Smith of Antioch Baptist Church will follow at noon. Interment will in Harford Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc, 1850 York Rd, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093-5142.
