German Meade, Jr. age 71 of Havre de Grace died Saturday, February 27, 2010. Beloved husband of Addie Bell Meade for over 49 years. Born in Pikeville, KY to the late German Meade, Sr. and Bertha Meade. Loving father of Charles Meade and wife Cindy of Green Bay, VA, Steven Meade and wife Sherry of Edgewood, David Meade and wife Lisa of Northeast, Christopher Meade of Aberdeen and Michael Meade and fiance Destiny Lapaglia of Riverside. Cherished grandfather of grandchildren Josh, Amber, Matt. Katie, Rick and Chris and great-grandchildren Josh, Michael, Savannah and Wyatt. Brother of Garnett Meade, Glendle Adkins and Gladies Adkins all of KY and the late Albert and Rurei Meade. German had been employed by Bata Shoe and Mitchell Bros. Cannery. He loved crafting, bluegrass and spending time with his sons and family.
The family will receive friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen on Thursday, March 4 from 10am-12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm officiated by Rev. Harold L. Hubble. Interment will be in Spesutia Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family C/O Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home. P.A.
